HÙNG VƯƠNG
PURPOSE
"to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law." See our Scout's Guide for further details on the Scout Oath and Law in both Vietnamese and English.
TROOP PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy of Troop 1003 is to develop courage, confidence, character and leadership within the scouts of the troop by enjoying various experiences in camping, education, and many outdoor events. As such, it is the responsibility of the leaders of Troop 1003 to make their best efforts to include these elements in every aspect of our Troop program as planned by the scouts and their leaders.
Scout-LED TROOP
Teaching, training and encouraging scouts to be leaders is the core of Scouting. Scouts learn by doing, and what they do in Troop 1003 is lead their patrols and their troop with adults in a supportive and guiding role.

Every Sunday
9:00 am -12:00 pm
Our troop normally meets on Sunday mornings at 9AM, unless otherwise notified. We occasionally have special events and camps so please check our calendar!

THE NUMBER 1003
Con số 1003 nghĩa ngày giỗ Tổ Hùng Vương (ngày 10 tháng 3 Âm Lịch) và ngày này cũng được chọn làm ngày sinh nhật của Liên Đoàn.
The number 1003 means the anniversary festival of King Hung Vuong (March 10 of the lunar calendar) and this date was also chosen as the birthday of our Troop.
